Delay to mail leaving and arriving on Island

Poor weather conditions have resulted in delays to mail leaving and arriving on the Island today.

The Isle of Man Post Office has announced that last night's mail plane was unable to depart because of the conditions, while the incoming plane has also been delayed this morning.

The delays mean packages leaving the Island have not made their connections with Royal Mail in the UK, so Special Delivery items won't meet their guaranteed delivery times.

It's expected today's mail will arrive on Island this evening and be delivered tomorrow.
