A sporting event aimed at getting more young people to take up sport will take place every year.
The Community Games were held for the first time earlier this year, giving secondary school pupils the chance to try a number of sports and encouraging them to join local clubs.
Manx Sport and Recreation says clubs have already noticed rising interest from young people.
10 sports were included this year, such as netball, snooker and badminton, with bowls, squash and rifle shooting being added for 2017.
Organisers say joining a club can be good for health, boost confidence and self-esteem and allow young people to develop skills.
