Final resurfacing at Laxey Bridge

Laxey Bridge is closed again this morning as the final work is completed at the site.

The new structure opened earlier this year after the bridge it replaced was destroyed by floods last December.

However, the Department of Infrastructure needs to resurface the bridge now that all other services have been installed.

The road closure order lasts from today until December 9th, but the Department hopes the work will only take a few days depending on the weather.
