Recycling and landfill targets will be discussed in next week's sitting of the House of Keys.
Garff MHK Daphne Caine will ask how much progress the Government has made towards meeting the targets set in the Island's waste policy and strategy for 2012 to 2022.
Mrs Caine will ask Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer how close the Island is to hitting its target of recycling 70% of waste and putting just 5% in landfill
Mr Harmer will also be asked to confirm how many of the 30 proposals in the strategy have been met so far, and what plans there are to update the programme.
The programme was developed to allow the Island to manage its waste needs while minimising the impact on the environment over a 10-year period.
