Plans to increase the number of special constables on the Isle of Man will be discussed in the House of Keys next week.
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper wants to know whether more special constables would benefit the Island.
Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey will also be asked what plans he has to attract more people to such a role.
Special constables work part-time alongside regular officers in the neighbourhood policing teams, as well as bolstering numbers during TT.
The Isle of Man Constabulary held a recruitment campaign to add new special constables earlier this year.
