Companies registered with the Island's Gambling Supervision Commission have donated more than £700,000 to help tackle problem gambling over the last three financial years.
Licence holders are expected to provide funds to help treat, prevent and support problem gambling.
Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly revealed the numbers in this week's sitting in the House of Keys, while confirming that the number of people seeking help for such problems locally has been declining.
He added that many companies also make private donations to charities who help those with gambling addiction and debt on top of the contributions made to the Manx Government.
However, Mr Skelly pledged to see if there is more his Department and the Department of Health and Social Care can do to support Manx charities who work with problem gamblers following a question from Douglas North MHK David Ashford.
