MHK to ask about retiring teachers

The age of the Island's teaching population will be discussed in next week's sitting of the House of Keys.

Douglas North MHK David Ashford wants to know what percentage of teachers at Manx schools will reach retirement age in the next 10 years.

Education Minister Graham Cregeen will be asked to provide details for primary and secondary teachers.

The details will be revealed when the House sits on Tuesday.
