Two cars collide in Glen Vine

The emergency services were called out early this morning following a crash in Glen Vine.

Two cars collided at around 6.30am, resulting in the road being closed for around 90 minutes.

Fire crews had to cut the roof off one of the cars to free a trapped driver.

He was taken to hospital for checks, while the driver of the other vehicle was able to get out of their car unassisted.
