Noble's Hospital is aiming to cut waiting times in its Accident and Emergency department, according to the Health Minister.
Kate Beecroft was asked what is being done to make sure patients see a doctor more quickly when visiting the hospital at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
The Minister confirmed that more senior doctors will be on duty while extra nursing staff and a GP are being recruited to reduce waiting times on weekdays.
Some MHKs expressed concern that A&E is being used by some patients who are unable to get a suitable appointment with their GPs.
