The Department of Health and Social Care is seeking planning permission to relocate a day care facility for adults with learning difficulties.
Plans to move the Eastcliffe healthcare facility to the Old Ballamona Farmhouse next to the hospital grounds are currently pending consideration.
The purpose-built unit would have two wings, and include shower facilities, activity rooms and sensory zones.
The development would also have industrial and horticultural training facilities, management offices and a cafe and retail unit.
The Eastcliffe facility is currently based on Victoria Avenue in Douglas.
