MHK to ask about cost, length of roadworks

A major roadworks scheme is currently underway in Foxdale.

The Infrastructure Minister is to be asked how much it costs to build 100m of road in the Isle of Man.

Ramsey MHK Alex Allinson wants to know the average cost over the last 10 major roadworks schemes on the Island.

Dr Allinson will also ask Ray Harmer how long it takes to build 100m, and how this compares with figures from the UK and Ireland.

Mr Harmer will provide the details at the November sitting of Tynwald, which gets underway tomorrow.
