Fireworks are thought to be to blame for two fires around the Island's coastline.

Fire crews spent several hours dealing with a large headland fire at Groudle yesterday afternoon into the evening.

A separate incident saw officers tackling another blaze at Marine Drive later in the evening.

Initial investigations point to fireworks being the cause of both incidents.
