Thieves siphon fuel from petrol tank

Police are appealing for witnesses after fuel was stolen in the north of the Island.

A vehicle parked on Queens Pier Road in Ramsey had its petrol tanked siphoned overnight between Wednesday and Thursday this week.

Officers say the public should be vigilant now that the nights are drawing in and temperatures or dropping, making oil storage tanks and vehicles targets.

Anyone with information on this theft is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234.
