Two of the Island's local authorities will go to the polls today to replace members who were elected to the House of Keys earlier this year.
Former Douglas East MHK Jon Joughin and businessman Robert Moore will contest the vacancy in Victoria Ward on Douglas Council, which was left empty after David Ashford was successful in Douglas North in the general election.
Lawrie Hooper's election in Ramsey also left a spot vacant on Ramsey Town Commissioners' North Ward.
Youth and social worker Nigel Howard and Walk and Talk instructor Ffinlo Williams are contesting the by-election there.
In both areas polls are open until 8pm.
