Cash and charity tin stolen from coffee shop

Coffee Exchange on Athol Street

Police are appealing for information after cash and a charity box was stolen from a coffee shop in Douglas.

Burglars broken into Coffee Exchange on Athol Street overnight between yesterday and today.

As well as a quantity of money, a tin that was being used to collect money for the annual poppy appeal was taken.

Anyone who was in the area and saw anything suspicious or who comes across a discarded poppy tin is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
