Security reminder from police

Police in the south of the Island are issuing a security reminder following reports of people acting suspiciously in the area.

A number of residents have contacted the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team recently to report strangers at their properties.

When challenged, the person often claims to be lost or in need of directions.

Officers say they may genuinely be lost, but that it's also a timely reminder for residents to lock their doors and have working external lighting.
