Drivers treated for minor injuries in Santon

Two drivers needed treatment for minor injuries following a crash in Santon.

A BMW collided with a van at Ballaglonney near to Fairy Bridge at around 2.30pm yesterday, resulting in all three emergency services being called out.

Both drivers were able to get out of their vehicles unaided, but fire crews were needed to recover the car, which had come to rest off the road.

The road was closed for around an hour while the vehicles were removed and the rest of the scene cleared.
