The all-weather pitch at the National Sport Centre will re-open next week, more than 10 months after being destroyed by floods.
Both rivers surrounding the facility burst their banks in December last year, causing damage to the outdoor pitch, as well as the sports hall, running track and the football pitch at The Bowl.
New blue artificial turf has been installed, along with brighter floodlights and a floodlit warm-up area, with team dugouts and spectator seating arriving in the coming weeks.
The pitch, which is used for hockey, football and a number of other activities, opens on Monday, and is the final facility to re-open.
