A local farm at the centre of a police prosecution for shooting two dogs who were caught savaging their sheep, have again been the victim of a vicious dog attack.
The Creer family farm Cooilingel near Crosby and came across the dead sheep in a field near Archallagan Plantation yesterday. The area is popular with dog walkers.
The sheep had suffered severe wounding of the head and legs in what they are describing as a vicious attack. They told Energy FM Reports that the sheep would have suffered severe pain and distress in what appears to have been a prolonged attack.
Daniel Creer was recently convicted for shooting two dogs he caught mauling his stock and because of the way the Manx Police have treated him, this latest attack has not been reported. They have no confidence in the Manx Police in protecting the real victims. Instead they have taken their campaign online publishing pictures of the dead animal and appealing to dog owners to keep their pets under control and to understand the consequences
