Foxdale roadworks get underway

A major roadworks scheme in Foxdale has been getting underway today.

The £800,000 project to refurbish Mines Road will be completed in time for TT next year.

Motorists have been warned to expect delays in the area, with temporary road closures and traffic restrictions due to be in place in the area until April.

As well as work to reconstruct the highway, new drainage will be installed, power lines moved and visibility at the junction improved.
