A former Douglas guesthouse could be turned into flats if a planning application is successful.
A prosective buyer of a property on Castlemona Avenue wants to turn the building into four self-contained apartments.
The building used to be used as a guesthouse, with the rooms currently rented out individually.
An initial statement on the application states that similar buildings in the area have already undergone a similar transformation.
It's also predicted that the work would ease parking problems on the street, reducing the number of occupants in the building from 11 to four.
