A move to restrict the distribution of legal highs on the Island has been given the go-ahead at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
The Treasury introduced the Psychoactive Substances Act, which prohibits such substances being imported and exported, as well as produced and cultivated in the Island.
The legislation also means a person could have their home or vehicle searched for such an item by police or customs officers.
A similar Act was brought in by the UK Government earlier this year in a bid to control the abuse of legal highs.
