Witnesses sought to fatal collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision which resulted in the death of a pedestrian in Onchan.

The 66-year-old local woman died at the scene following the incident with a white van yesterday morning.

The driver of the van has been helping police with their investigation, while the road remained closed for around four hours while enquiries were conducted.

Officers believe a number of other drivers were in the area at the time and may have seen the collision,
