Creamery apologises for milk production issues

The Isle of Man Creamery says that its milk is safe to drink despite production issues.

A batch of non-homogenised milk was produced by the company last week, which resulted in the cream separating to the top of the milk.

The Creamery has issued an apology to its customers, and is assuring the Manx public that such milk does not present a food safety issue.

The cause of the issue has been found and fixed, which should prevent a recurrence of the problem.
