Commissioners confirm by-election date

Ramsey Town Commissioners have confirmed a by-election will take place next month to fill a vacancy seat on the board.

The local authority has been a member short since Lawrie Hooper was successful in the House of Keys General Election last month.

The Commissioners announced that two candidates will contest the seat in North Ward on November 3rd, with polls opening between 8am and 8pm.

Youth social worker Nigel Howard and outdoor walk and talk instructor Ffinlo Williams are the candidates.
