A roadworks scheme which had to be delayed will get underway later this month.
The regeneration of the highway at Mines Road in Foxdale had to be put back while plans to the junction were amended.
The Department of Infrastructure will now get the project underway on October 24th, with the work expected to be completed by May 2017.
The scheme will see the road surface improved, visibility at the Mines Road junction improved, footpaths widened and bus stops made more accessible.
As a result the Mines Road junction will be closed from the 24th to allow the works to get underway, three weeks after the original start date.
An amended bus timetable will be published on Bus Vannin's website today.
