Route doubts amid Blackpool Airport sale

One of the Island's air routes could be in doubt after Blackpool Airport was listed for sale.

Owners Balfour Beatty have previously closed the airport because it was losing money, and are now looking to sell their 95% share in the facility.

The Squires Gate site was shut for six months from October 2014, but flights between the Island and the seaside resort resumed the following April.

CityWing currently operates the route between Blackpool and Ronaldsway.
