Reminder to register home-schooled children

Parents who educate their children at home or send their kids to private school on the Island are being reminded of the need to register with the Government.

Those not attending one of The Department of Education and Children's 37 schools must still register with the Department.

Children must be registered within three months of the compulsory school age, which is five.

Registration forms can be downloaded from the Government's website.

Those who fail to comply could face a penalty.
