Investigations into unexplained death continue

Police are continuing their investigations after a man's body was found at a flat in Douglas.

The 28-year-old - who is yet to be formally identified - was discovered at a property on Empire Terrace on Saturday morning.

Officers have described the death as unexplained, and confirmed that a post mortem revealed no obvious cause of death.

Enquiries have been carried out in the area and a number of people have spoken to police as they try to establish what happened leading up to the man's death.

Further forensic examinations are being carried out, and the Coroner of Inquests has been informed of the death.
