TT fans visiting the Island spent £22.5m to attend this year's races.
The Government's annual TT visitors survey reveals a similar number of motorsport fans came to the Island this year compared with 2015.
However, the average visitor spent more on their trip this time around, resulting in an additional £1.1m being spent by tourists than at the same time 12 months previous.
There were fewer first-time visitors though, as just over a quarter of the 42,000 visitors were making their debut TT trip - over a third were first-timers in 2015.
Mad Sunday was the busiest day - with around 26,000 tourists spending June 5th at the TT - while over 40 nationalities came to the Island during the fortnight.
