The Department of Infrastructure has altered its plans for a major roadworks scheme in Foxdale, delaying the start of the project.
Work to reconstruct Mines Road was due to start next week, but a landowner in the village has pushed for additional work at the junction to improve visibility.
An update from the Department confirms that the road won't close until the end of the month while materials are delivered, although an exact timescale is yet to be finalised.
The scheme was originally due to be completed in time for TT next year.
As well as resurfacing, new drainage will be installed and power lines moved as part of the project.
