Island's tourism website revamped

The Government's Head of Tourism is hoping the revamped Visit Isle of Man website will bring a new type of tourist to the Island.

The website has overgone a major overhaul recently, ensuring that it's optimised for a wide range of computers, tablets and mobiles, as well as web browsers.

The site was orginally developed 14 years ago, making it out of date on some modern devices.

The site helps those planning a trip to the Isle of Man to research travel options, plan visits to tourist attractions and book accommodation.

Angela Byrne told MTTV she hopes more families will be interested in visiting [play audio].
