Couple killed in Churchtown crash named

Police have named the elderly couple who were killed in a crash in the north of the Island earlier this week.

Daphne and James Tait - a married couple from Jurby - died following a collision between three vehicles at Churchtown in Lezayre on Monday afternoon.

A third person was seriously injured in the crash, while another driver walked away from the incident without injury.

Officers are still appealing for witnesses to come forward, particularly anyone who saw a silver Honda Jazz, black Volkswagen Golf or grey Peugeot 3008 in the area at the time.
