Investigations are underway following a crash which killed two people in the north of the Island.
A three-vehicle collision at Churchtown on the TT course resulted in the death of a 79-year-old woman and her passenger.
A second driver was seriously injured and taken to Noble's for treatment, while the third driver was able to return home after being examined at the scene by paramedics.
The crash happened at 12.35pm yesterday, and resulted in the road being closed until after 6pm while the emergency services attended and investigations were carried out.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened and hasn't already contacted police. Anyone who can help should contact the Roads Policing Unit on 631212.
The Coroner of Inquests has been informed of the fatalities.
