The Isle of Man Post Office has had to remove one its post boxes in the north of the Island after it was targeted by vandals.
The box outside Ramsey Post Office was damaged between 6pm on Friday and 6am the following morning.
The company has had to take the item away for repair and restoration, and have informed police of the incident.
The postal service is advising those in the area to use the post box outside the Court House building until the repairs are complete.
