Two people have died following a crash in the north of the Island this lunchtime.
Three vehicles collided at Churchtown in on the TT Course between Sulby and Ramsey at 12.35pm, resulting in the road being closed for almost six hours while investigations were carried out and the emergency services attended.
Police have confirmed one of the drivers - a 79-year-old from the north of the Island - died at the scene, and the front passenger from the same vehicle passed away in hospital shortly after.
Another driver is undergoing treatment in Noble's hospital after sustaining serious injuries in the incident, while the third driver was unhurt and able to return home after being checked by paramedics.
