Youngsters set off fire hoses in car park

Police are asking parents to make sure they know what their children are doing following damage at a car park in Douglas over the weekend.

Officers believe youngsters were to blame after fire hoses were set off at the multi-storey car park at the corner of Westmoreland Road and Circular Road.

Patrols were stepped up in the area by the Central Neighbourhood Policing Team, but parents have also been asked to make sure their kids aren't involved.
