A Ramsey doctor proved the most popular candidate with the voting public in this year's General Election.
GP Alex Allinson, who has previously served as a member of Ramsey Town Commissioners, received 2946 votes - almost 800 more than any other candidate.
Allinson was one of just three MHKs to receive over 2,000 votes in yesterday's election, as Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson topped to poll in Rushen, while Peel MHK Ray Harmer enjoyed strong support in Glenfaba and Peel.
Allinson will be one of 12 new faces when members are sworn in next week.
