Mountain Road to close for post-MGP work

The Mountain Road will be closed later today to allow items to be removed following the Festival of Motorcycling.

Course signs, race furniture and other items have been in place on the A18 for the Manx Grand Prix races on the Snaefell Mountain Course, which ended earlier this month.

The route will be closed between Barrule Park in Ramsey and the Creg-ny-Baa Back Road from 9.30am until 4.30pm at the latest.

The road had been due to shut last Thursday, but the work had to be delayed.
