Onchan resident Ben Swift will be leaving Team Sky at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old cyclist will join Chinese-Italian outfit TJ-Lampre after seven years with the British team.
Swift was one of the original members of Team Sky when it formed in 2010, along with Manxman Peter Kennaugh and Castletown resident Ian Stannard.
Swift, who finished second in the Milan - San Remo earlier this year, is orginally from Yorkshire, but lives and trains in the Island in between races.
