Pokemon app costs driver £300

An Onchan woman has been handed a £300 fine after being spotted playing Pokemon Go while driving.

An off-duty police officer saw Katie McIntyre Druggan looking at the popular app on her phone while driving in Peel in July.

The 32-year-old was spoken to by police the following day and admitted having her phone in her hand while at the wheel.

Druggan also receives four penalty points on her licence and must pay £50 costs.
