The general manager of the Villa Gaiety complex has been suspended following a dispute between the Government-run entertainment complex and a promoter.
Dawn Maddrell's suspension comes following allegations that financial losses at the facility have been covered up by Government.
The accusations stem from a dispute between the Department of Economic Development and Tiny Cow - the promoter who brought Sir Tom Jones to the Island earlier this year.
Details of emails between the promoter and Mrs Maddrell have been circulating on Facebook in recent days.
Internal investigations into the claims have begun.
