Local woman aims to raise awareness of uterine cancer

A local woman who was diagnosed with a form of uterus cancer is hoping to raise awareness of the condition through an event this month.

MeShell Berry explains how women may not be aware of this form of cancer and just who might be at risk [play audio].

MeShell is holding a Spa Treatment Session at Keyll Darree next to Nobles Hospital on September 20th. The event starts at 6pm.

Those attending can enjoy a mini spa treatment for a small donation and learn about the 4th most diagnosed cancer in Women.

Manx Cancer Help, Macmillan and Hospice will be in attendance to offer advice and support. Coffee, Tea, Cakes and Nibbles will be provided.
