Unempolyment in the Isle of Man is at its lowest level in almost eight years according to the latest Government statistics.
August's labour market figures reveal 596 people were registered as unemployed at the end of last month - 180 fewer than at the same time last year.
160 people signed on last month, while 184 left the register, leaving the number of residents out of work at its lowest since September 2008.
The total represents 1.3% of the Island's economically active population.
