Road works in the south of the Island are going to take longer than first thought because of the worse-than-expected condition of the road.
The Department of Infrastructure began resufracing the Colby to Ballabeg road last month, and had expected to finish the job within three weeks.
However, the Highways Division now estimates the scheme will continue into October as the road needs a full reconstruction, as well as work to the water main and pavements.
Details of road closures during the works are available on the Energy FM Infocentre.
