Unemployment holds at 1.4 per cent

Unemployment on the Isle of Man has held at 1.4 per cent.
It's the lowest recorded figure since October 2008 - at the end of July there were 620 people out of work; 65 per cent of those were men.
It marks a decrease of 170 people compared to the same month in 2015.
During July 812 vacancies were notified to the Job Centre - at the end of the month 524 positions remained on file.
The Island's construction industry was the sector with the highest number of unemployed people - the highest number of job vacancies was recorded in retail distribution.
