Pet owner goes to police over cat cruelty concerns

Residents in Andreas are being warned to keep a close eye on their cats after three in the area were injured in what their owner believes was an act of 'deliberate cruelty'.

Bill Dale's cats have all suffered serious facial injuries over the last four weeks - he says "it's too much of a coincidence".

One of the cats has since died - Bill says he thinks someone could be enticing the animals into their garden or home, trapping them and inflicting the injuries.

Police have been alerted and Bill is now urging other people who live in the village to be extra wary:
