Airport radar problems hitting finance industry says MHK

Someone needs to be 'held to account' for long standing issues with the replacement radars at Ronaldsway Airport.
That's according to Onchan MHK Peter Karran who says the fact contractors have failed to complete the project has had a knock on impact on the Island's finance industry as jets can't land in fog.
The Infrastructure Minister has previously described the fact the radars don't meet civil aviation authority requirements as 'one of the best deals government has ever struck'.
In Tynwald this month Malew and Santon MHK Graham Cregeen pulled him up querying how experienced the company was.
Phil Gawne said he didn't recall making that comment but admits the installations which have been carried out in the last five to 10 years are on primary systems only:
