Trial for Douglas man who denies child sex offences
Fri, 29 Jul 2016
A Douglas man will stand trial after denying carrying out 11 sex crimes against children.
55-year-old Antony Carus appeared before the Court of General Gaol Delivery at Douglas Courthouse earlier this week.
He entered not guilty pleas to the offences which include a number of counts of gross indecency with a child and indecent assault.
They allegedly took place between 2001 and 2012 - the court was told they relate to four alleged victims.
An application for bail was refused - he was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until his next court appearance on September 30th when trial dates will be set.
