Amnesty International has praised the Isle of Man for welcoming in the new gay marriage law.
Same sex couples are now able to get married and heterosexual couples can obtain civil partnerships.
Head of nations and regions Patrick Corrigan has thanked the Chief Minister for his efforts in delivering this 'important step' for the LGBT community.
He also says it's pleasing to see a small Island, which was late in decriminalising homosexuality, being quick to take up the equality law:
